I want to understand not only what is happening in your life, but the context in which it is happening.

My particular interests include working with BIPOC and QTBIPOC clients, bicultural clients and intercultural couples, immigrants, and adult children of immigrants.

Living at intersections of identity and navigating multiple worlds can be profoundly lonely. Therapy should be a place where these parts of your experience do not need to be translated, minimized, or separated from the rest of who you are. I work with high-achieving people who are accustomed to figuring things out but find themselves facing something they cannot solve or push through. Supporting people through experiences that disrupt the life they knew or expected is work I care deeply about. This might include separation or divorce, injury or diagnosis, infertility and challenges with family building, or the loss of roles, relationships, and possibilities. My understanding of grief extends beyond death to the many kinds of loss and changes we encounter throughout life. Healing, to me, involves making meaning of what we have lived through while expanding our capacity for greater freedom, choice, and connection.

Outside of learning about myself and others, I enjoy semi-elaborate baking and deductive puzzles. I’m a casual art maker and snail mail enthusiast.
