Hello, I’m Cat. Congratulations on taking a step towards caring for yourself. I’m ready to sit with you and meet you right where you are. I enjoy fostering safe spaces for clients from all backgrounds to sit with their stories and co-create healing pathways with them. I love teaching tools to empower people to listen to and care for themselves. I enjoy meeting folks working with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, shame, midlife issues, nervous system regulation, women’s issues, spiritual issues, sexual issues, aging, and LGBTQIA+ issues (Rainbow Certificate in progress). It’s important to me to address the systems within which we are living and to recognize that moving through this life will look different for each one of us. I love to get creative and think beyond our currently perceived limitations.
As an internationally certified yoga therapist, I have been offering yoga therapy for 11 years and find the body to be a great source of wisdom. Through a holistic therapeutic approach, I integrate somatic practices to help clients know themselves more deeply. I incorporate various tools from my decades of yoga practice and teaching, including mindfulness, breathwork, spiritual philosophy, mantra and visualization. My strength-based, therapeutic approach includes Internal family Systems and its well-known refrain: all parts are welcome. I also offer outdoor therapy, walking and talking or sitting together outside. I show up as a practitioner with 60 years of life experience, plenty of losses and transitions, as well as a deep love for all life. My own healing has come through therapy, community, artmaking, movement, and time in the outside world. I will gladly share all of these with you.
