Ava utilizes a person-centered, integrative approach including ACT, Somatic, Mindfulness, and Experiential (nature and adventure-based) modalities.
Born and raised in Bellingham, Ava is an adventurous, nature-loving counselor and avid volunteer dedicated to community connection. As a person-centered and integrative therapist, she utilizes evidence-based modalities alongside experiential techniques to best serve her clients’ unique needs. Her practice is deeply trauma-informed and strength-based, helping individuals navigate challenges while reconnecting with their innate resilience.
Ava graduated from Prescott College with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and an Education Specialist degree in Experiential Counseling, along with a certificate in Adventure-Based Therapy. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), trained in Wilderness First Aid (WFA) and is currently completing her certification as a Clinical Adventure Therapist (CCAT) through the Association for Experiential Education.
