Introduction
I am a retired Army combat veteran, mother of five (ages 11–28), and a Marriage & Family Therapist Associate committed to supporting individuals, couples, families, and groups in achieving meaningful and sustainable change. My clinical work is grounded in a collaborative, client-centered approach that honors each person’s unique experiences, cultural context, and therapeutic goals.
I have extensive experience working with trauma-related conditions, including PTSD, sexual trauma, and abuse, as well as substance use, depression, anxiety, grief, relational distress, parenting challenges, and life transitions. I approach treatment through an integrative lens, drawing from evidence-based practices to support emotional regulation, cognitive restructuring, and interpersonal effectiveness.
I believe that healing begins in a space where individuals feel safe, heard, and empowered. My therapeutic style is warm, engaging, and intentionally structured to foster both insight and actionable change. I provide personalized, goal-oriented care designed to help clients take time to talk. This can lead to meaningful breakthroughs, innovative perspectives, and stronger connections within oneself and with others.
Clinical Philosophy
My work is rooted in the principles of hope, empowerment, strength-based intervention, and compassion. I strive to create an environment where:
Your voice is validated and respected
Your strengths are identified and built upon
Barriers to growth are explored and addressed collaboratively
I view therapy as both a reflective and skill-building process, where insight is paired with practical tools to support long-term change.
